Within 24 hours of being in Hawaii, we have already experienced a great deal of exploring, swimming in the Pacific Ocean, a visit to the Waikiki Aquarium and my boyfriend's favourite... eating musubi; fried spam, egg, and rice, wrapped in seaweed. We also soon realized that a chain of stores, ABC, are on every corner. They carry absolutely everything you can imagine, but I was only after one thing...pineapple wine. When I booked this trip as a birthday present for my boyfriend, the travel agent mentioned that one of the first items we should buy is pineapple wine. After I post this blog, I plan on relaxing in the patio under a canopy of trees, that are simply awe-inspiring, and sipping a chilled glass of sweetness. While exploring all over, I found myself drawn to the spectacles of trees; their towering limbs grace every hotel, beach and pathway. I have a deep fascinated with lush greenery of any kind and my senses have been overstimulated by the grande beautys called Indian Banyan Trees. The melodies that are sung amongst the vines of these magnificient species, invited me in to capture the hum of nature's spirit found here in Hawaii. At night, they are lit up with twinkling lights that only enhance their glory. Even when a storm is brewing, like this afternoon, the swaying of the palm trees reminded me to simply inhale the ocean air and give gratitude to my surroundings. As I immersed myself into the water, letting the rolling foam and crashing waves plummet me, I smiled and licked my lips. The instant taste of salty sea jolted my senses as I finally realized that I am vacationing in paradise.
Okay so ive decided that this is not fair and that telporting needs to be invented soon, so that i can join you , and still be able to go back to school:)
